      Cimarron Road Vehicle into House

      At 5:24 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, Local members responded to a vehicle collision involving a structure at 5307 Cimarron Road. The driver of a SUV accidentally backed their car through a fence, over a natural gas meter and ran into the home. When members arrived, they found the gas meter free flowing and significant damage to the corner of the house.

      The Local 274 Outreach Program organized and run by Brother Niles has been a big hit.We collected over $20,000 so far and donations are still being made.The first delivery was 4/8 at noon and a story was also put on Channel 12 news.Continental deli was the first to prepare meals for the doctors and nurses of White Plains Hospital.

      At 2:19 p.m. on Sunday April 6th, Local members responded to a vegetation fire just east of the Northridge Recreation Center in Highlands Ranch. A 100x100 foot area was burning in the open space along one of the paths and not threatening any structures. Members made a direct attack and quickly extinguished the flames.

      The City of White Plains officially implemented a back to work policy(below).The CDC recommends that you have to be free of fever and other symptoms for 72 hours straight and have the option of 2 negative tests 24 hours apart.The city part leaves that out.With the shortage of tests,it is hard enough to get one test.Use common sense,if you dont feel well,stay home.
